The principle behind ultrasound fat cavitation treatment is the emission of high-frequency ultrasonic waves, which increase blood flow through the selected treatment area. The ultrasound device targets the fat layer of the skin, creating a resonance (vibrational) effect causing mechanical disruption of fat cell membranes, which triggers the cells’ triglycerides to convert into free fatty acids and glycerol. These waste products are then released into the fluid between the cells, where they are transported to the liver and reused as building blocks for energy.
